Jim Palmer

Jim Palmer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jim is currently the Senior Vice President and National Director of Commercial Auction Services at Marcus & Millichap, where they oversee the firm's division for buying and selling commercial properties through auctions.

Prior to their current role, Jim was a Senior Vice President at Ten-X from 2015 to 2023, where they managed the Broker Channel and worked with institutional clients. Before that, they served as the President and COO at Channel, LLC from 2012 to 2015, helping the company become a leader in the online real estate marketplace.

From 2010 to 2013, Jim was a Principal at Carlisle Ventures, a real estate investment company, where they played a key role in raising capital and sourcing investment properties. Jim also worked as a Senior Sales Executive at IMI Resort Holdings from 2005 to 2010, handling luxury real estate sales and marketing in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Jim began their career in the technology sector as an Enterprise Account Executive at MTI from 2004 to 2005, and as an Account Executive at Commvault from 2002 to 2004. Jim started their professional journey at EMC as an Account Executive from 2000 to 2002.
