Mred Ara H. Rostamian

Ara H. Rostamian has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry. Ara H. currently serves as the Vice President and Managing Partner of the Ovaness-Rostamian Group at Marcus & Millichap since October 2019. In this role, they oversee a retail-focused team and has completed over $2 billion in real estate transactions. Ara H. advises clients on the acquisition, disposition, and re-positioning of retail properties in Los Angeles, Southern California, and major metro areas across the United States.

In addition, Ara Rostamian is an Executive Committee Member at USC Lusk Center for Real Estate starting in March 2023. Prior to their current role, they worked at SRS Real Estate Partners as a Vice President in their National Net Lease Group. From August 2017 to September 2019, they provided strategic advisory services for clients in retail real estate transactions across Los Angeles, Southern California, and the Western U.S.

Before joining SRS, Ara held the position of Vice President - Retail Investment Group at Strategic Development Advisors, Inc. from February 2007 to June 2017. Ara H. played a key role in Southern California retail acquisition, disposition, and development advisory. Ara H. sourced and evaluated over $1 billion worth of investment and development opportunities and led projects valued at over $50 million in development and $115 million in investment sales.

Ara started their career as an Appraiser at Southland Appraisals from September 2004 to January 2007, conducting real estate appraisals. Ara H. also gained experience in market research and report preparation as a part of the underwriting process at Jantz Appraisal Co. from September 2003 to September 2004.

Ara H. Rostamian, MRED, completed their education at various institutions. Ara H. pursued a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) degree from the University of Southern California from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended California State University, Northridge, where they studied Business Administration with a focus on Real Estate from 2007 to 2009. Their secondary education was completed at Crescenta Valley High School from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, Ara H. Rostamian has obtained a certification as a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer from CrossFit, Inc. in September 2012.
