Julian M. is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in foreign exchange and commodities trading across Latin America. Currently serving as the Head of FX & Rates for Latin America at Marex Solutions since 2025, Julian has previously held significant roles such as Head of FX & Commodities LATAM in the Private Bank division at Citi from 2010 to 2025, and Head of Emerging Markets FX Trading Americas at the Royal Bank of Scotland from 2008 to 2010. Earlier in the career, Julian was the Head of Local Markets FX Trading Americas at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from 2001 to 2008 and began as an FX Options Trader at Sudameris from 1999 to 2001. Julian M. holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, obtained between 1992 and 1997.
