Wilhelm du Toit

Wilhelm du Toit has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Wilhelm is currently serving as the CFO - Solutions at Marex Solutions since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at an Investment bank in Finance and Regulatory Change at Resource Solutions from October 2019 to February 2022. In 2019, they also completed the Oxford Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

During their time at Nomura, from October 2014 to December 2018, Wilhelm held the positions of Executive Director Finance and EMEA Structured Rates, Variable annuity and Equities Product Control in the Finance Department. Wilhelm managed various product control teams and led finance and organizational transformation projects.

Before joining Nomura, Wilhelm worked at Credit Suisse as Vice President in the Operations department from August 2013 to October 2014, and in the Finance department from October 2011 to August 2013. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, they served as Vice President in the CFO department from June 2007 to October 2011. Prior to that, they worked at UBS as a Non-Officer from June 2004 to March 2007.

Wilhelm started their career at Ernst & Young as an Audit Supervisor from January 2001 to March 2004.

Wilhelm du Toit completed a Post Graduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics at the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2022. Prior to that, in 2019, they took part in the Oxford Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. In 2000, Wilhelm obtained a B.Com (Hons) degree in Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, and also received a Certificate in the theory of accounting (CTA) from the same institution. Wilhelm pursued a B.Com in Accounting Sciences from 1997 to 1999 at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Additionally, Wilhelm holds several certifications, including the Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification from Chainalysis Inc. in 2022, the Alteryx Designer Core Certified certification from Alteryx in 2021, and the Chartered Accountant (South Africa) designation from SAICA CA(SA) in 2004.
