Ted Chen is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in philanthropy and organizational learning. Currently serving as Vice President for Equity, Culture, and Learning at Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies since August 2012, Ted Chen advances an organizational culture centered on equity and learning. Prior roles include Director of Evaluation and Organizational Learning, where senior leadership was provided for evaluation and knowledge sharing efforts, and Director of Evaluation, focusing on the impact of grant programs. Previous experience includes leadership positions at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Big Idea Productions, as well as program management at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago. Ted Chen holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MSW from the University of Michigan, and a BA from Wheaton College.
