Jared Self has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2022. Jared has worked in various roles and industries, showcasing their versatility and skills.

In 2014, Jared worked as an Outsourced Controller & Python Developer at QuickBooks Consulting Group, where they provided CFO, Controller, and Bookkeeping services for multiple industries. Jared also developed custom programs in Python to automate accounting procedures, improving efficiency.

From 2021 to 2021, Jared served as a Software Consultant - QuickBooks at Fourlane. Jared designed accounting processes and software to meet clients' reporting, operational, and automation needs. Additionally, they utilized Python to automate time-consuming tasks and acted as a Project Manager for software conversions.

At Hibou Corp. from 2020 to 2021, Jared worked as a Python Developer and Outsourced Controller. Jared customized Odoo ERP using Python, XML, and Docker, resolving display issues, hosting concerns, and accounting logistic problems. Jared also led a significant accounting cleanup project and updated an open-source Odoo module for payroll.

As the CFO and Financial Data Analytics at NOMATIC, LLC from 2018 to 2020, Jared built a Data Warehouse and analyzed sales from multiple marketplaces. Jared designed cash/financial strategies and played a key role in funding rounds. Jared utilized Python, VBA, and Google Scripts to automate accounting practices and deliver financials quickly.

Jared's experience includes owning and operating Clean Cut Lighting LLC from 2011 to 2016. Jared built the business from scratch and managed all accounting functions, marketing campaigns, and analyzed results to optimize profitability.

From 2014 to 2015, Jared worked as a Consultant, Outsourced Controller, and Resident QuickBooks Expert at Advanced CFO Solutions. During this time, they reviewed and cleaned books for multiple clients, facilitated the transition from cash basis to accrual basis accounting, and provided training sessions on accountant tools in QuickBooks.

Before entering the accounting field, Jared gained experience as an Audit Intern at Mantyla McReynolds, LLC in 2014 and as a Business Advisory Intern at Squire in 2013.

In 2008, Jared started their career as a Corrections Officer at Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department, where they served until 2012.

Jared's most recent work experience is as an Accounting Migration Specialist at MarginEdge, starting in 2022, where they focus on migrating accounting systems for clients.

Jared Self's education history is as follows:

Jared Self obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration from Western Governors University, where they attended from 2020 to 2022.

Prior to that, they earned another Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Utah Valley University, attending from 2012 to 2013.

Before pursuing their Bachelor's Degree, Jared Self completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting/Business General from Ensign College, where they studied from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Jared Self obtained a certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor from Intuit in January 2015.
