Claus Olesen

Claus Olesen serves as Kulturskoleleder at Mariagerfjord Kommune since May 2022 and holds the position of Honorary Professor at the University of Peking since May 2019. Previously, Claus Olesen was Rektor and Head of Department for Classical Studies at Det jyske Musikkonservatorium from September 2001 to May 2022. Additional roles include General Secretary for the ANMA association of Nordic Music Academies and Formand for Kultuministeriets Rektorer. Claus Olesen was also a saxophone teacher at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen from 2002 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Leadership from Via University College and an Advanced Soloist Degree in Saxophone from The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg.
