Dmitry Komis

Dmitry Komis has an extensive work experience in the art industry, with a focus on gallery management and sales. Dmitry is currently the Director at Marian Goodman Gallery since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Sales Director at David Nolan Gallery from November 2019 to December 2021. From October 2015 to October 2019, Dmitry held the role of Director at David Lewis Gallery. Dmitry also has experience as a Director at Rachel Uffner Gallery from October 2013 to March 2015. In addition, they worked as a Sales Associate at Bortolami Gallery from September 2012 to March 2013. Dmitry's career began as a Curator & Auction Director at Robert Wilson & The Watermill Center, where they worked from February 2008 to September 2012.

Dmitry Komis completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology (Pre-Law) with a minor in Cinema Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1998 to 2002. Dmitry later pursued a Masters of Science in Theory, Criticism, and History of Art, Design, and Architecture with a focus on Contemporary Art at Pratt Institute from 2006 to 2009.
