Gary Marqus

Gary Marqus, PhD, currently serves as Scientist II in CMC - Radiochemistry at Mariana Oncology since October 2023, previously holding the position of Scientist I in the same field. Between May and August 2023, Marqus was Senior Research Associate II at Agenus, where efforts focused on the development of site-specific antibody-drug conjugates, including conjugation of fluorescent probes and solid phase peptide synthesis. Prior to this, Marqus was a Graduate Research Assistant at Brandeis University from July 2017 to May 2023, engaging in the development of assays for Mycobacterium tuberculosis inhibitors and instructing students in medicinal enzymology and general chemistry laboratories. Marqus also has experience as a General/Organic Chemistry Tutor at Rhode Island College and contributed to undergraduate research on DNA-binding studies. Marqus holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Rhode Island College.
