Gérald Andrieu has extensive experience in journalism and writing. Gérald started their career as a journalist at Groupe Nice-Matin in 2002 and went on to work as a freelance writer for various publications, including Le Canard enchaîné, Le Figaro, Causeur, Le Magazine littéraire, and Télé7Jours. In 2008, they joined Marianne as a journalist and later became the editor-in-chief of Marianne.net. Gérald also worked as a political journalist for Marianne until 2014. During their time at Marianne, they were appointed as the deputy director of the editorial department in 2019. In 2018, they briefly served as the editor-in-chief for society at L'Express. Additionally, they have authored several books, including "Le Peuple de la frontière" for Editions du Cerf in 2017 and "Bienvenue dans le pire des mondes, le triomphe du soft totalitarisme" for Éditions Plon in 2016. In 2023, they co-authored the book "La Souveraineté, l'Europe et le peuple" for Michalon Éditeur.
Gérald Andrieu began their education at Lycée Jacques Audiberti in Antibes and graduated with a Baccalauréat degree in Economics in 1998. Gérald then pursued their undergraduate studies at Université Côte d'Azur, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History in 2002. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Gérald attended L'Ecole Du Journalisme de Nice (EDJ) and graduated with a Licence de journalisme.
