Kevan Moodley

Kevan Moodley has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Kevan started their career at FELTEX, Ltd. in 2000 as a Development Engineer, where they were involved in sourcing parts and developing processes for the production of trim components for Volkswagen and Mercedes. In 2002, they joined Unilever, initially working as a Production Planner before moving on to roles such as a Supply Chain - Demand Planner and a Customer Logistics Consultant. At Unilever, they implemented collaboration projects, set up customer service level files, and generated long-term forecasts. In 2008, Kevan joined Dow Chemicals as a Site Logistics Leader, managing inbound and outbound logistics operations. Kevan later took on the role of a Production Engineer, driving improvements in productivity and quality, before becoming an Operations Leader, setting targets and developing resource plans. Currently, Kevan is the Head of Operations at Marico Limited, a position they have held since 2017.

Kevan Moodley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they obtained between 1993 and 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Matric Exemption (Distinction) at Chatsworth Secondary School from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, they have acquired professional certifications in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Supply Chain Management (CSCP) from the American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS) in 2005 and 2009 respectively. Kevan also completed a Management Development Programme (MDP) from Stellenbosch Business School in 2014.
