Taehooie Kim

Taehooie Kim is a Transportation Engineer II at the Maricopa Association of Governments, with experience as a Research Scientist at UrbanSim Inc. where integration of data-driven learning algorithms and the development of a feasibility-based Pro Forma model for real estate forecasting were key responsibilities. Prior to this, Taehooie served as a Graduate Research Associate at Arizona State University, focusing on the integration of transportation planning models and machine learning methods, culminating in a doctoral thesis that received an Honorable Mention for the HKSTS Outstanding Dissertation Award. Taehooie holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and Washington State University, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
