Mike Pineda

Program Director | Residential Business Faculty at Maricopa County Community College District

Mike Pineda, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mike has worked at the Maricopa Community Colleges since 2005, initially as an Adjunct Faculty and later as a College Instructor. In 2015, they took up the role of a Small Business Analyst and eventually became the Program Director | Residential Business Faculty in 2019.

In addition to their role in academia, Pineda has also contributed to the city of Avondale, AZ. Starting from 2016, they have served as a City Council Member and is expected to become the Vice Mayor in 2023.

Pineda's career also includes a stint as the Director of Business Operations at Arizona Asset Realty from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Advisor at the University of Phoenix from 1999 to 2001.

Mike Pineda, M.Ed., completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2004. Mike then pursued their Master's degree, earning a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University from 2004 to 2006.
