Andy Weflen

Andy Weflen, GISP, has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems and emergency management. Since January 2016, Andy has held multiple roles at Maricopa County, including Geographic Information Systems Analyst, EOC Technology Analyst, and Logistics Chief during the COVID response. Concurrently, Andy serves as an Academic Associate at Arizona State University since March 2020. Previous experience includes serving as Regional Director of Analytics for Xceligent, Emergency Information Systems Coordinator for the Arizona Division of Emergency Management, and US Research Analyst and GIS Specialist at Colliers International. Andy's educational background includes a Master of Advanced Studies in Geographic Information Systems from Arizona State University and a dual bachelor's degree in Spanish and Political Science from the same institution, along with studies at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
