Debra Stark

Debra Stark has extensive experience in urban and environmental planning, currently serving as the Planning and Development Director for Maricopa County since October 2012. Prior to this role, Debra held various positions, including Planning and Development Director and Executive Assistant to the City Manager in Phoenix, as well as Community Development Director in Peoria, AZ. Beginning a career in Maricopa County in 1988, Debra progressed through several roles such as Planner II, Planner III, and Planning Manager. Debra holds a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Western Kentucky University.
