Scott Jarrett

Scott Jarrett currently serves as the Director of Elections for Maricopa County, a position held since July 2019, where responsibilities include directing operations and delivering strategic presentations to various stakeholders regarding election processes. Prior to this role, Scott was the Audit Manager for Maricopa County Internal Audit from March 2015 to July 2019, successfully leading audit teams and collaborating with leadership to enhance operational efficiency. Scott's career in auditing began as a Senior Auditor at both the Maricopa County Community College District and Maricopa County, where extensive experience was gained in risk assessment, compliance, and operational auditing. Scott's professional journey began in the U.S. Coast Guard, where dedication and service on the Hurricane Evacuation Assist Team earned recognition with the Coast Guard Achievement Medal. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Arizona State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Accountancy from Estrella Mountain Community College.
