Senior Programs Specialist And Technical Advisor BLM at Marie Stopes International

Tusekele Mwakasungula is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in sexual and reproductive health, HIV, and program management. Currently serving as a Senior Programs Specialist and Technical Advisor at Marie Stopes International since January 2021, Tusekele provides technical leadership and support to various interventions. Previous roles include consulting at Tupe and working as a Health Specialist at FHI 360, where Tusekele contributed to projects addressing HIV/SRHR and water and sanitation. As Director of Programs for the Family Planning Association of Malawi, Tusekele led the planning and implementation of comprehensive sexual and reproductive health programs. Additionally, experience includes program management with ICCO Cooperation and work as an HIV and AIDS Coordinator with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. Tusekele holds a Master of Public Health from the Malawi College of Medicine and has further specialized training from Johns Hopkins and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
