John Oldale

John Oldale has extensive work experience in the cycling industry. John most recently worked as the Marketing Director at Marin Bikes, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of International Marketing Manager at Marin Bikes from August 2017 to November 2022. Before joining Marin Bikes, John was the Marin Brand Manager at Paligap Ltd from September 2015 to August 2017. John also worked at Fox Racing as the European MTB Marketing Manager from August 2013 to September 2015, where they were responsible for the day-to-day running of the MTB team, media planning, event activation, athlete development, and athlete activation. Earlier in their career, John worked at Sheppard Cycles as a Product Manager from October 2008 to July 2013, overseeing the development and design of bikes under the ABD and Avanti name. John also has experience as an SRAM Service Technician at W H Worrall from October 2007 to October 2008, where they served as the technical service contact for the entire SRAM range, maintained relationships with customers and dealers, and managed warranty procedures.

John Oldale attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport Technology.
