Cindy Darling

Cindy Darling is an experienced environmental scientist and public servant with a robust background in regional environmental management and governance. Currently serving as a Board Member for MCE and a City Council Member for the City of Walnut Creek, Cindy has held various influential roles, including Chair of the Independent Citizen's Oversight Committee for the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority and Planning Commissioner for the City of Walnut Creek. With a career spanning over four decades, previous positions include Deputy Assistant Secretary at the California Natural Resources Agency and Early Implementation/Bay Area Regional Coordinator for the CALFED Bay Delta Program. Cindy Darling holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from the University of California, Davis.
