Laura Wehrley

Laura Wehrley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and project management. Currently serving as the Community Development Manager at MCE, Laura focuses on building community relations in Contra Costa County to enhance MCE's brand as a leader in clean energy. Prior to this role, Laura worked as the Community Engagement & Outreach Director at Sustainable Contra Costa, where marketing and partnerships were key responsibilities. Laura's diverse career includes multiple positions at Intrax, encompassing project management, training, and partner management, as well as a role as West Coast Sales Specialist at Xtra Intermodal. Laura holds a BS in Business Administration and Marketing and a BA in International Relations from the University of Missouri-Columbia, along with additional coursework in Spanish from Universitat d'Alacant.
