Saul Macias has extensive experience in human resources and consulting. Saul holds the position of Vice President for Human Resources at Marin Community Foundation since August 2017. Prior to this, they were Vice President of HR Services at The ABD Team from May 2016 to August 2017. From April 2012 to May 2016, Saul worked as a Partner and Vice President of Professional Services at SharedHR, a management and HR consulting firm. Before that, they founded their own boutique HR consulting firm called Inspirion Group in October 2011, which was later acquired by SharedHR. Saul also served as Director of Human Resources at Stupski Foundation from December 2008 to September 2011. Saul gained experience as Associate Director of Human Resources at Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation from June 2001 to December 2008. Prior to that, Saul worked as an OD Manager at Scient from June 1999 to June 2001. Saul started their career as Managing Director at INROADS in September 1993, where they were responsible for various aspects of the San Francisco operation.
Saul Macias completed their education in a chronological order. Saul first attended Pomona College from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Sociology. Following this, Macias pursued higher education and enrolled at the University of San Francisco School of Management in 2006, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Finally, in 2022 and 2023, Macias attended Cornell University and obtained a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion for HR (Human Resources), specializing in the field of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).
