Kellie Douglas currently serves as the Confidential Sexual Assault Victim's Advocate Coordinator at Sonoma State University, having begun in August 2023. In this role, Kellie has established connections with various campus partners to enhance support for survivors and has participated in multiple committees to promote education and outreach on sexual assault and domestic violence. Prior to this, Kellie worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Marin County Sheriff's Office from July 2016 to August 2023, where responsibilities included ensuring safety in the jail and courthouse environments, as well as serving as a Sheriff's Cadet with experience in investigations and community engagement. Kellie's earlier positions involved lifeguarding and swim instruction at Rhonewood Park Homeowner's Association and serving as a Program Instructor for Girl Scouts of Northern California, focusing on mentoring young women. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Sonoma State University and is currently pursuing certificates in Food and Nutrition from Stanford University and The Science of Well-Being from Yale University.
