Leanne Battelle

Leanne Battelle is a seasoned food writer and advocate with extensive experience in the culinary domain. Since August 2016, Leanne has served as a Food Columnist and Restaurant Critic for the Marin Independent Journal, while also founding The Whole Pantry and The Real Deal Marin in 2012. Additionally, Leanne has been a Freelance Blogger and Food System Reform Advocate since 2007, contributing research and writing on national food movements, supported by completion of three Edible Education courses at UC Berkeley. Earlier in Leanne's career, a role as Special Project Manager at Kono Consulting spanned from March 2003 to July 2012. Leanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from St. Lawrence University and pursued further education at the Austro American Institute.
