Jen Tuten

Director Of The Learning Resource Program at Marin Primary & Middle School

Jen Tuten began their work experience in 2017 as a Learning Specialist at Novato Unified School District. In this role, they provided targeted reading instruction to students with mild to moderate deficits, coordinated volunteers for at-risk students, and monitored state testing implementation. In 2019, they joined Marin Primary & Middle School as the Director of the Learning Resource Program. Jen later took on the role of Primary School Director (Interim) in 2020, where they supported and guided faculty, communicated with families, and collaborated on admissions events.

Jen Tuten has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Penn State University, which they obtained in 1998. Jen has also completed a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Columbia University. Additionally, in June 2016, they obtained a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, as well as a certification in Reading and Literacy Leadership from the same institution.
