Emily Greenhalgh

Emily Greenhalgh has extensive experience in digital communications and science writing, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Digital Communications at the Marine Biological Laboratory since November 2019. In this role, Emily develops and manages audience-focused digital content, including long-form science writing for various media. Prior positions include Digital Media Manager and Digital Media Specialist at the Marine Biological Laboratory, Senior Science Writer at the New England Aquarium, and various writing roles related to NOAA. Emily's freelance work spans multiple scientific publications and organizations, demonstrating a strong commitment to science communication. Emily holds an MS in Science Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelor's of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island.
