Kay Shepherd

Kay Shepherd is a professional with a diverse background in research management and technical support within academic and nonprofit settings. Currently serving as a Project Manager at the Marine Biological Laboratory since July 2023, Kay previously held the position of Research Technician at Northeastern University for nearly three years, where responsibilities included supervising undergraduate researchers and managing data for government-funded studies. Additional experience includes a role as Volunteer Research Assistant in the Adolescent Relationships and Risk Behavior Lab, and multiple internships focusing on donor relations and client assessment in health-related fields. Kay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brandeis University, with a major in Health: Science, Society, and Policy & Neuroscience.
