Alissa Weisman

Alissa Weisman is an accomplished event management professional with extensive experience in orchestrating fundraising and community engagement activities within various non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Event Manager at the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation since August 2021, Alissa has successfully facilitated event coordination while collaborating with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders. Prior roles include Event & Orchestra Manager at Symphony Orchestra NOVA, where innovative virtual concerts were developed, and Event & Marketing Manager at Warriors Ethos, focusing on creative fundraising during the COVID-19 pandemic. Alissa’s background also encompasses event coordination at the corporate level, including positions at ClubCorp and Hornblower Cruises and Events, where revenue growth and logistical management were prioritized. Alissa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from Shenandoah University.
