Kathryn Casello, LCSW, currently serves as a Clinical Counselor at Marine Corps Community Services, where responsibilities include providing essential services for military personnel at the Substance Abuse Counseling Center in Hawaii. Prior experience includes working as a Therapist for the Child Abuse Prevention Expansion program at Lakeview Center Inc and a Communications and Program Coordinator at the Woman's National Democratic Club. Kathryn has also held research and advocacy roles, including a research technician position at the Institute for Justice Research & Development and a policy internship with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. Leadership experience encompasses serving as President for both FSU Keep Guns Off Campus and the FSU Association of Student Social Workers, as well as co-founding You Are Not Alone AK to promote mental health awareness in youth. Kathryn obtained a Master of Social Work and two Bachelor’s degrees—one in Social Work and another in Political Science—from Florida State University.
