Vicki Cornish is an experienced Energy Policy Analyst at the Marine Mammal Commission, a position held since May 2010, where Vicki advises on policies and scientific needs to enhance the conservation of marine mammals, focusing on oil and gas, renewable energy development, and Alaska Native subsistence hunting. Prior to this role, Vicki served as the Marine Wildlife Program Director at Ocean Conservancy from January 2007 to April 2010, and was a Fisheries Biologist at NOAA/National Marine Fisheries Service from December 1991 to January 2007. Vicki holds a Master's degree in Biological Oceanography from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science, and a Bachelor's Degree in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior from UC San Diego.
