William Stafford is an accomplished marine engineer with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as Vice President of the Marine Division and Director of Engineering Services at Marine Spill Response Corporation since April 2014, Stafford directs maintenance and repair programs for offshore assets and spill response equipment. Previously, as a Principal Engineer at Bath Iron Works from July 1999 to April 2014, Stafford focused on piping system design and served as the cognizant engineer for shipboard fluid systems and auxiliary equipment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Ocean Technology and Commerce from Webb Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, complemented by ongoing Executive Education at MIT Sloan.
