James Caldwell is an accomplished shipping and ports executive with over 25 years of experience in the industry, focusing on commercial strategy development and digital innovation. Currently serving as the Head of Supply Chain Innovation at the Marine Stewardship Council, James leads a Traceability Enhancement Program to enhance digital traceability in the seafood industry. Prior to this role, James consulted as a self-employed transport expert and held leadership positions at CNS - Community Network Services, Clipper Maritime, and Inchcape Shipping Services, where responsibilities included steering commercial strategies and delivering innovative solutions. James holds an MBA from The Open University and recently pursued further education at the University of Cambridge.
