Majid Soleimani

Majid Soleimani is the current Director of Engineering Operations at MarineLabs. They have over ten years of experience in the field of engineering and have worked as a Research Engineer, Sessional Instructor, Laboratory Instructor, and Teaching Assistant. In their previous positions, they have been responsible for conducting research, managing projects, and teaching students. Soleimani has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University.

Majid Soleimani received their Doctor of Philosophy in renewable energy from the University of Victoria. Majid also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in environmental engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University. Majid has a Master of Science in environmental engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University and a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Islamic Azad University. Majid is certified by the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy in Certificate of Reviewing and by University of Victoria, OHSE & Praxair in Compressed Gas. Majid is also certified by University of Victoria, OHSE in Radiation & Laser safety, Class 3B and Class 4 lasers and by University of Victoria, Learning and Teaching Centre in Teaching Assistants Fundamentals Certificate. Lastly, they are certified by University of Victoria, OHSE in WHMIS.

They are on a team with Bryce Bocking - Director of Data Science, Christopher Moreno - CFO, and Michael Fischer - Director of Software Engineering. Their manager is Scott Beatty, CEO.
