Brooke Swanson

Brooke Swanson, SHRM-CP, is a Compensation Analyst at Mariner Finance since March 2014, where responsibilities include providing comprehensive human resources support in recruitment, compensation, employee relations, training, payroll processes, and personnel records management. Prior to this role, Brooke served as a Public Records Researcher at Vertical Screen, Inc., conducting thorough background checks and verifications. An earlier position as an Investigative Intern at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender involved case analysis and witness interviews to assist defense attorneys. Additionally, Brooke worked as a substitute teacher for grades K-12 at Berlin Community School, teaching various subjects. Brooke's experience also includes a role with the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, where contributions focused on building cases against Medicaid fraud and enhancing investigative efficiency. Brooke holds a Dual Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Towson University, completed in 2011.
