Christos Dimizas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Christos started their career in 2006 as a Teacher and Professor Assistant at the University of Crete, where they gained experience teaching and conducting research. Christos continued their research at the university as a Graduate Researcher and later as a Post Graduate Researcher, focusing on electric characterization and computational studies of semiconductor devices.

In 2011, they worked as a Private Tutor for secondary education before transitioning to a Computational Research role in 2012, where they conducted computer simulation research on III-Nitride Double Barrier Resonant Tunneling Diodes.

In 2013, Christos worked as a Private Tutor for higher education before joining Alkyon L.P., a construction company specializing in renewable energy, where they served as a National Strategic Reference Framework - Executives SMEs, handling customer service and external payments.

In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer for SciFY NPO, gaining experience in software development. Christos then joined Profile Software in 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they focused on front-end development using AngularJS, Kendo UI, and other technologies.

From 2017 to 2019, Christos worked at MarineTraffic as a Frontend Developer, responsible for front-end development and later transitioned to a Data Scientist role. Christos currently holds the position of Data Scientist at Kpler, a position they started in 2023.

Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in data science, software engineering, and computational research.

Christos Dimizas completed a course in Machine Learning from Stanford University on Coursera in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters Degree in Microelectronics and Optoelectronics from the University of Crete from 2008 to 2011. Christos also pursued a M.Sc degree in Microelectronics – Optoelectronics, Department of Physics and a B.Sc degree in Physics from the same university between 2003 and 2011. Furthermore, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Crete from 2003 to 2008.
