Fache Lillian Chan

Lillian Chan, FACHE has a rich and diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Lillian currently serves as the Accreditation, Regulation & Licensing Manager at MarinHealth Medical Center, where they lead all accreditation, regulatory, and licensing activities for the hospital. Lillian ensures continuous survey readiness and coordination across various functions, while maintaining strong partnerships with Quality/ Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs. Prior to this role, Lillian was the Transition Director at MarinHealth Medical Center, where they directed the transition initiative for the hospital's expansion into a new acute care tower. Lillian created a governance structure, executed an implementation plan, and provided strategic advice to executives, operational leaders, and cross-functional groups.

Before their time at MarinHealth, Lillian served as the Chief Executive Officer at Novis Healthcare Consulting LLC. Lillian also held the position of Transition Director at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, where they developed and implemented the San Francisco General Hospital Rebuild Transition program. In this role, they directed all aspects of operational readiness planning for the public hospital and trauma center.

Lillian's earlier experience includes roles at Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF), Kaiser Permanente, Mercy Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Hospital - Sacramento, and Kaiser Foundation Hospital - San Diego. Noteworthy positions include Director - Delivery System Strategy/ Regional Planning at Kaiser Permanente, where they provided leadership in developing long-range business plans and strategies, and Assistant Hospital Administrator at Kaiser Foundation Hospital - Sacramento, where they provided effective leadership for various direct patient care and support services.

Throughout their career, Lillian has demonstrated strong leadership skills, the ability to build consensus, and expertise in strategic planning, transition management, and operational readiness. Their contributions have made a significant impact on the organizations they have worked for.

Lillian Chan, FACHE has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley. Later, they pursued their Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, specializing in Hospital/Health Care Administration.

In addition to their educational background, Lillian Chan has obtained several certifications. Lillian is a Fellow (FACHE) of the American College of Healthcare Executives, which they achieved in March 2008. Lillian also holds the Certification as a Healthcare Executive from the same institution, which they obtained in August 1990.
