Jason Ruben

Jason Ruben, MD, currently serves as a Board Member at MarinHealth Foundation since July 2017 and holds the position of Medical Director and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at MarinHealth Medical Center since June 2016. As a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with Vituity since 2006, Jason Ruben has led significant initiatives, including the establishment of a Medical Scribe Program, which expanded from 45 scribes in 2008 to over 2000 by 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Consultant for Augmedix and an Emergency Medicine Physician at Cottage Hospital Santa Barbara, along with clinical teaching positions at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. Jason Ruben completed an International Emergency Medicine Fellowship at LAC+USC and earned medical degrees from the Keck School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Jason Ruben has provided consulting services to the Ministry of Health in Bhutan to enhance emergency medical systems.
