Cheryl Martin

Cheryl Martin has a strong background in community services and planning. Cheryl began their career in 2009 as a Planning and Zoning Analyst for the City of Ocala. Cheryl then moved on to become a Planning Technician for the same company before transitioning to the Marion County BOCC in 2014 as a CDBG Administrator. In 2015, Cheryl joined the City of Ocala once again, this time as a Reinvestment Manager. Most recently, they have been serving as the Director of Marion County Community Services for the Marion County Board of County Commissioners since 2017.

Cheryl Martin obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Saint Leo University in 2009. Cheryl also earned a Certified Public Manager certification from Florida State University. The start year for their education at both institutions is not mentioned.
