Danny Smith

Danny Smith has extensive experience in recreation management and sports coaching, currently serving as the Community Center Recreation Manager for Marion County, Florida, since January 2010. Responsibilities include supervising facilities, staffing, programming, and events for both youth and adults. Smith's notable coaching achievements include recognition as "6A JV Coach of the Year" for three consecutive years while working with Vanguard High School. Previous roles also encompass athletic director positions at Shores Christian Academy and School of the Kingdom, where responsibilities included managing athletic departments and coaching various sports. Smith's early career includes coordinating recreational activities at Marion Correctional Institution and serving in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate.
