Frankye Johnson

Frankye Johnson has extensive experience in the field of social work, serving as the Director of Social Work at the Marion County Public Health Department since August 1995. In this role, Frankye oversees the Social Work Department and is responsible for mental health and crisis response during public health emergencies and disasters. Previously, Frankye held the position of Administrator of Social Services at the same organization and was a founding member of the National Association of Black Social Workers, Indiana Chapter from 1985 to 2016. Frankye Johnson holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in Social Work and Sociology from Indiana State University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Social Work and Psychology from Indiana University Indianapolis.
