Bruno Costa

Bruno Costa has a diverse work experience. Bruno is currently working as a Big Data Engineer at Marionete since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked at BNP Paribas Securities Services from April 2017 to February 2020, where they held roles as a Developer/Analyst/Designer and also worked as a Trainee from April 2016 to March 2017.

Bruno also has experience as a Co-Founder and Member at Núcleo de Estudantes de Redes, Dados e Serviços (NERDS) of FEUP from November 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory from February 2015 to October 2015.

Furthermore, Bruno has teaching experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, from February 2013 to July 2015. Bruno mentored students in programming courses, helping them with algorithm implementation and theoretical doubts, supervising their work, and grading assignments.

Earlier in their career, Bruno worked as a Bartender and Waiter at Desigual Café-Bar from June 2010 to September 2010.

Bruno Costa completed their education in a chronological order. Bruno first attended Colégio Via-Sacra from 2002 to 2007, where they completed their Ensino Básico (Basic Education) degree. From 2007 to 2010, they attended Escola Secundária Alves Martins, where they pursued their Ensino Secundário (Secondary Education) degree in Ciências e Tecnologias (Sciences and Technologies) field of study. Bruno then furthered their education at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and completed their Master's degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications, Electronics, and Computers, from 2010 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Bruno obtained several certifications. In March 2015, they received a Certificate of attendance to a conference by Dr. Luís Reis, Senior Manager of Sonae, on "Strategy and innovation on Europe's businesses" from ShARE-UP. In April 2014, they participated in Jornadas de Eletrotecnia (Electrotechnical Days) organized by DEEC FEUP. Bruno also attended II Jornadas de Eletrotecnia in May 2015, organized by DEEC FEUP. In October 2013, Bruno received the Diploma de participação AGILE MARATHON from Sonae e o CiPS - FEUP. Most recently, in March 2020, they became a Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka through Confluent.
