Matthew Mertens has extensive experience in retail sales and customer service, currently serving as an MTM Specialist and Style Advisor at Mario's since September 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at Tonal as a Partnership Sales Supervisor and held various positions at Nordstrom from August 2018 to March 2021, including Logistics Processor and Professional Sales Representative in the Men’s Suiting and Furnishings department. Matthew's sales expertise was further developed at Bloomingdale's, where as a Professional Sales Associate in Men’s Suiting, strong client relationships were cultivated through suggestive selling and in-depth product knowledge. Earlier experience includes sales roles at Burberry and Brooks Brothers, showcasing a consistent focus on building client bases and driving sales through personalized service. Matthew graduated from East Islip High School in 2013.
