William van Ornum

William Van Ornum has extensive experience in psychology, writing, and education. Currently a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors and a writer/blogger for National Review Online, William contributes articles on mental health and current events. As a retired professor from Marist College, William taught various courses, including Assessment I and Psychopathology in the Graduate School Psychology Program. Previous roles include features writer for Aleteia, project lead for Pearson Clinical Assessments, and clinical director at Astor Services for Children. William holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and has a history of research and development in mental health assessments.
