Birgitte Fidjeland

Birgitte Fidjeland has over 17 years of work experience in various roles. Birgitte started their career as a part-time worker at Coop Obs Bygg in 2003 and continued until 2008. In 2009, they worked as a coworker at Skandinavisk Høyfjellsutstyr until 2010. In 2011, they interned at KITH for the summer. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Business Developer at Graymatics, Inc. Following that, they were a Marketing Coordinator at Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Seniorrådgiver at Skatteetaten. Currently, they work as a Data Analyst at Maritech, starting in February 2020.

Birgitte Fidjeland has a diverse education history. Birgitte first attended Øytun Folkehøgskole from 2005 to 2006, where they studied Off Piste/ Friluftsliv. In 2006, they pursued a 30-credit course in Idrett og Friluftsliv/ Sport and Outdoor Activities at UiT - The Arctic University of Norway. The following year, they briefly studied Informatics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2007 to 2008. Moving on, they enrolled at Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's degree in IT-supported Business Administration. Additionally, they studied Management, Business, and Communication at Hawaii Pacific University for a year in 2010. In 2011, they commenced their Master of Science (MSc) in Management of Technology at Trondheim Business School, which they completed in 2013. During 2012, they also participated in The Norwegian Entrepreneurship Programme in Singapore (Gründerskolen), focusing on Business Development.
