Salvador Natera is the current Director of Logistics Services at Maritima Dominicana SAS. Salvador has over fifteen years of experience in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Prior to their current position, they held various managerial positions at Cortes Hermanos S.A, Caribbean Liquid Sugar, Tricom S.A., and Banco BHD. In addition to their work in the private sector, Salvador has also worked as a Project Manager for Emprende Inc, a consulting firm affiliated with the Inter-American Development Bank (BID).
Salvador is a highly skilled and experienced logistics professional. Salvador is responsible for planning and executing the operational activities of Maritima Dominicana's logistics services division, which includes warehouse services, customs clearance, land transportation, and local distribution. Salvador also oversees the company's compliance with quality standards (ISO9000), safety standards (BASC & OEA), and environmental standards (ISO 14000). In addition to their managerial duties, Salvador is also responsible for interacting with different institutions involved in the logistics process. Salvador currently manages a team of five staff members and 300 collaborators.
Under Salvador's leadership, Maritima Dominicana has become the leading logistics service provider in the Dominican Republic, offering a wide range of innovative and qualified logistics solutions. The company has a presence in all Dominican ports and main airports, and provides customized logistics services to meet the needs of each individual client. Salvador's dedication to their work has resulted in a significant increase in the efficiency and quality of Maritima Dominicana's logistics services.
Salvador Natera is currently enrolled in Incae Business School for a degree in Supply Chain Optimization Analitics and is expected to graduate in 2022. Salvador also has a diploma from Universidad Iberoamericana in Planificación Estratégica from 2010-2011. In 2001-2003, they completed a Master's in Gestión Logística from Escuela de Organización Industrial. Salvador Natera also has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra from 1997-2001. Lastly, they hold a Bachiller from Colegio Loyola in Ciencias y Letras from 1985-1997.
