Brian Fitzpatrick has a strong background in naval technology development and leadership. Brian currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Maritime Applied Physics Corporation since 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Principal Assistant Program Manager for Unmanned Surface Warfare for PMS406 at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from 2017 to 2023, where they were responsible for overseeing the execution of various unmanned surface warfare programs. Brian also served as the Deputy Director for Science and Technology for PEO LCS at NAVSEA from 2015 to 2017, where they managed the Science and Technology portfolio across multiple program offices. Earlier in their career, Fitzpatrick was the Director for Naval Applied Superconductivity Group from 2002 to 2015, where they led a team in technology development and expertise in applied superconductivity and cryogenics.
