Michael-Paul Abbott (M-P)

Michael-Paul (M-P) Abbott currently serves as the General Manager of General Regulatory Operations at Maritime New Zealand, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, M-P Abbott was the Transformation Lead at WorkSafe New Zealand from February 2022 to November 2022. M-P Abbott has extensive experience at Maritime New Zealand, where positions held ranged from Maritime Officer to Regional Compliance Manager over a decade of service. Additionally, M-P Abbott was the Owner/Operator of Wilderness Escapes from 2010 to 2013 and served as Operations Manager and Senior River Guide at Kiwi River Safaris from 1999 to 2010.
