Misa Umezu

Misa Umezu is a finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting and financial roles. Currently serving as the Finance System Transformation Project Lead at Maritime New Zealand since May 2021, Misa previously held positions at the same organization as Manager Financial Operations and Financial Accountant from July 2017 to July 2020. Prior experience includes roles at New Zealand Fire Service as Operations Accountant - Financial Accounting, Ministry of Health New Zealand as Financial Funding Analyst, and Crowe Horwath New Zealand as Client Advisor. Misa also worked at WHK in multiple positions, including Intermediate Accountant and Accounting Administrator. Misa holds a Master of Professional Accounting degree from Victoria University of Wellington obtained between 2012 and 2013.
