Tina Phelan Covey

Tina Phelan Covey, CMP, currently serves as Director of Operations at Maritz Travel, a Maritz Global Events Company, since August 2013, after holding the position of Project Manager. Prior to this role, Tina was a Meeting Manager at Fernley & Fernley from December 2010 to July 2013, where responsibilities included managing Board, Committee, and Annual Meetings for multiple non-profit professional associations. Tina's earlier experience includes serving as a Clinical Event Manager at MD Events from June 2007 to December 2010, overseeing the logistical planning for various national and international meetings in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Tina began her career as an Event Services Coordinator at Comcast-Spectacor Event Services from January 2004 to June 2006, coordinating various company and client events. Tina holds a B.S. degree in Sport, Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation Management with a concentration in Hospitality Management from Temple University, completed in 2005.
