Shelene Romane

Shelene Romane has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Brand & People Excellence at Mark-Taylor, Inc. since February 2020, following roles as Associate Director and Associate Managing Director. Prior to this, Shelene held the position of Director of Operations at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company from June 2018 to February 2020. Experience at Marriott International spanned a decade, featuring various leadership roles including Director of Operations - Rooms, Director of Room Operations, Group Accounts Leader, and Director of Front Office. Earlier career stages included roles at Harrell Hospitality Group, LLC, The Point Brisbane Hotel, Hotel Bel-Air, and Interstate Hotels & Resorts, covering front office operations and revenue management. Shelene holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from California State University, Northridge, and participated in a study abroad program at Queensland University of Technology.
