Tricia Smylie

Tricia Smylie is an accomplished human resources leader currently serving as the Senior Vice President of People at Markaaz since May 2025, where Tricia is responsible for building the HR foundation and shaping a supportive culture for a fast-growing fintech firm. Previously, Tricia held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Chobani for one year, facilitating the smooth integration of La Colombe post-acquisition. Prior to that, Tricia was the Vice President of People at La Colombe Coffee Roasters, contributing to communications strategy and HR transformation efforts, as well as serving as Senior Director and Director of People at the company. Tricia's earlier experience includes roles as Director of Human Resources at Live! Casino & Hotel and Rivers Casino Philadelphia. Tricia holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Temple University.
